Graduating from the University of Kentucky, College of Law with many academic awards, Ms. Fitzhugh has garnered experiences in many areas of civil litigation and the workers’ compensation arena.  She has been actively involved in litigating cases in insurance defense, bad faith claims, dram shop cases, personal injury defense, product liability, trucking claims, employment law and premises liability.

Ms. Fitzhugh has represented her clients through state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and participated in a dram shop trial in Ashland, Kentucky.  Ms. Fitzhugh adheres to the principals of Hassman & Fitzhugh, PLLC and prides herself on establishing a good working relationship with her clients and going the extra measure to provide an exceptional rapport with them while actively working toward a successful resolution in each case.  Ms. Fitzhugh’s strong writing skills and ability to take excellent depositions have been paramount in establishing the groundwork in her cases that brings success with motions and at trial.

Additionally, Ms. Fitzhugh has achieved success in the area of workers’ compensation by thorough case analysis, taking comprehensive depositions, and successfully representing her clients in front of the Kentucky’s Administrative Law Judges via motion practice, formal hearings, and through written briefs.  An asset in all legal arenas, Ms. Fitzhugh brings confidence, professionalism and a hard work ethic to the Hassman & Fitzhugh, PLLC team.
